FMCG Sales Manager

Inside the Business Development team, the FMCG Sales Manager will report directly to the Head of Business Development and he/she will be responsible for the performance, evolution and success of our FMCG partnerships. He/she will need to strengthen the relationship at all levels of the organization in order to drive upsell, business growth and exploit new and unknown opportunities. He/she will have assigned a portfolio of FMCG brands and will be the spoc inside and outside the organization for the end to end account management.
The main responsibilities and activities in full details will be:

  • Drive sales, including mastering Supermercato24 potential, conducting presentations and demonstrations, writing business proposals, quote preparation, evangelizing Supermercato24 as a company and its products, negotiating terms and contracts, closing deals and providing mentoring and guidance to account managers
  • Quota responsibility to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Define and execute sales plans and strategies, including specific account plans and manage customer portfolio between account managers
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor and coach in order to match customer expectation and drive their decisions
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through a constant update of our CRM tools
  • Coordinate with other teams in order to ensure we are delivering the best experience to our customers and that we are fully exploiting our potential.
  • Carry on quarterly review with insightful analysis and a consulting approach in order to deepen our knowledge of the customer needs and don’t miss any opportunity
  • Identifying new services, features and offer to be integrated in our platform communicating them to the right internal stakeholder with a proper context and reasons why
  • Networking with new customer and new stakeholder inside existing account
  • Prospecting new accounts based on prioritization and shared plan of action

REQUIREMENTS
  • Master of science in engineering, business administration or other analytical/scientific background;
  • Consulting, start-up, e-commerce or similar experiences will be considered a plus;
  • Commercial attitude, you enjoy networking and going deep into customer real needs;
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and effectively with key stakeholders across multiple channels;
  • Very good multi-tasking skills;
  • Business acumen and solid analytical skills;
  • Ability to process information quickly and implement effective solutions;
  • Flexibility to work in a rapidly-changing environment;
  • Proactive approach and constantly looking for new opportunities;
